PROJECT BACKGROUND
In line with the search for viable durable solutions for the afghans in pakistan ,UNHCR polices and programs have continued to explore an increasingly wide range of solution _oreuled anenues that incorporate not only strengthening the dialogue -base with the international community but also expounding devilo pinul initiatives with organizations that can improve burden -shaviy 1)with pakistan for hosting one of the largest refugee populations in the world for close to three decades.
OBJECTIVES
*continue to provide adequate with quantities of water to the refugees for drinking and other household purposes . *Rehabilitate existing water system with maximum participation of the community. *under take regular water quality testing and monitoring in all refugee villages.
RESULTS AND OUTPUTS
*Water points developed and maintained *Water storage and distribution system constructed and maintained. *Bore holes improved and installed with hand pumps. *emergency water intervention made.
